I have been asked to stop using the word MANSPLAINING.

It probably is time to be more politically correct.

In the future I will be using the clinical diagnosis CORRECTILE DYSFUNCTION.

You’re welcome.

@JillianMHurley

One of my favorite G-chat messages of all time was to my boss about two of my co-workers: "I'm sitting here listening to Grace gracesplain to Connor what mansplaining is and why she hates him so much for it."

@t3rrybowman @JillianMHurley Does this mean that all explaining could just have the explainer’s name prefix it and that is the equivalent of “mansplaining”? I had always thought that mansplaining had a broader definition. Or am I misinterpreting?
@MargaretThomson @JillianMHurley the point of the message was that it was high comedy listening to the two of the trying to talk over each other. I knew my boss would get a kick out of it. Connor was the worst mansplainer and know it all I ever met.
