Author unknown. But yeah, this. #hydrogen
did you know there's hydrogen trolls on Mastodon? OK, there's one. Now blocked. But it's hilarious that one could be so wedded to their pet tech (which most honestly is a lifeline for fuel distribution) that they can ignore entropy & thermodynamics entirely because they want to BELIEVE #hydrogen #itstehfuturemaaaan
ok, 2 hydrogen trolls 🤭

ignore entropy & thermodynamics entirelyAlright then, Mx SmartyPants, YOU tell us then what colour they should be!

@MsDropbear42 same as invisible pink unicorn
@weezmgk The author needs to ask where the metals for all the batteries are suppose to come from. Otherwise, he is just backing himself into his form of climate change denial.

@Hypx Lithium? Comprises 5% of the mass of a LiFePO4 battery. 100% recyclable. So is the copper & aluminium. Zero cobalt. That's the batteries done. Let's talk about the inefficiencies of making hydrogen in, say, automotive use. Takes 3x the energy to move a HFC car100km vs BEV.

Hydrogen loses, always will, every single time, even if obtained from renewable powered water electrolysis.

@weezmgk In other words, you have no answer. You just handwave it away before suddenly shifted to using misdirection and starting attacking #hydrogen.

Here's the truth: Fuel cells are electrochemical systems just like batteries. So there is no fundamental efficiency argument against. This entire argument is mostly a hoax. But since hydrogen can be made from water, it is truly sustainable. That is the obvious answer.

@Hypx I have an answer, you just chose to ignore it because it buries hydrogen

Bye troll

@weezmgk Then admit you're just another climate change denier. It is the secret truth of most BEV fanatics. They don't give a fuck at all. They're just here to sell cars for obvious personal gains.
