Wanted to get the bedroom phone-free, so needed an alarm clock. Something that would play from USB with gradual volume increase (fuck beeps/buzzers/alarm sounds) and used red light (modern alarm clocks with blue LED displays wtf).

Found a YAMAHA TSX-140 dirt cheap second hand, and this shit is DOPE. Sounds great and has USB and an iPod dock, which means my old nano gets to live out a useful retirement, and I wake up to mostly to the Boxcutter albums and old Madlib tunes that were left on there circa 2010 😂.

Perfect maximum level of bedroom technology. #thefuture 👌
