I had a decent grow before with 20 gallon plastic containers. Forgot what “tek” it was it’s been a while, but if your interested I’ll look it up.
dorkian_grayMake sure you have somewhere to post pictures and ask questions, I saw what I thought was mold on my Lion’s Mane substrate but it turned out to be part of the mycelium. I tossed the whole thing because I’m an idiot (though in fairness to myself I really, really can’t afford to get sick from infected mushrooms) 😞
When I get mold I will toss em the back yard. For some reason the open environment and sun helps. Still get fruits this way sometimes.
ITT: another reason for me to get a place that has a back yard!
IndicahI’d recommend trying any methods that don’t require a pressure cooker. Your best bet is uncle ben’s or broke boy tek.
PF tek with shotgun fruiting chamber seems reasonable both price and yield wise.
milo_bytesGonna second PF Tek it’s perfect for your usages. While Uncle Ben’s was something that worked for me it failed too often for me to really suggest it to someone who’s only going to be doing this every now and then. Glad people love it, but if you’re using spore syringes PF Tek is the way to go
