Thank you, hardworking developer. - Lemmy

For some reason I conflated this with the Voyager 2 software updates….
Same! Because the guy on the meme is old and using old pc… all matches!

Are voyager devs working on this app full time? Seriously, they seems to be working non-stop. How come a project made ~1 months ago has 66 release already? This means they managed to produce 2 release per day on average. I self-host my voyager instance and can’t even keep up with the release.

Kudos to the devs! I would say keep up the good work, but I think they should take some vacations every once in a while.

tbf many of those releases only contain 1 or 2 small things, many other devs would wait to include them in one big release instead of releasing 5 small ones
It is possible because voyager is a PWA.
My voyager isn’t a pwa its an actual app on the play store now
And it’s the most polished Lemmy app that I’ve used. I’m definitely going to donate to the devs sometime soon.
Dude definitely deserves a buck or 2 for all the hard work making such a good app
Also iOS and watch app are available (via TestFlight right now).
This app is ridiculous in a good way so many great features its like anytime I think voyager is great but it would be better with this there’s an update that brings that feature before I can even request it

Although it has over 40 contributors 👏 it still looks pretty much like a one-man-show, which makes it even more impressive.

And the guy replied to my stupid email in 10 minutes…
I sponsored the project on github. Great work so far. Thank you!!
Dev is not a fan of sleeping, he told me on his matrix server.
What’s his matrix server’s address?
Oh, I found it. It’s matrix.to/#/#vger.app:matrix.org

Where do you find the TestFlight link? It’s not on the GitHub at least.
You don’t need to. Voyager was just released in the app store
I thought this was about NASA regaining contact with the space probe.

Well, I think that we should…

Ahm… Wait a moment. Need to install an update.
