@seppschimmer You'll find many people find calling #SecondLife itself a game as being the ultimate rude.
You can play a game IN there and that's what is meant by your world if you choose to just do that, but the platform is NOT a game.
That reduces SL down to a common denominator just as much as anyone saying it's just for people looking for virtual sex.
If their goal is to report about Second Life with regard to a reproduction of a real world locale for people to socialist in then maybe they should be fair about the exact subject they are covering.
@Holocluck I absolutely agree with you, but I won’t shy away from things I find interesting over a choice of words, whether that indicates an accidental or purposeful misconception of #SecondLife.
To some Second Life really is a game, just like some consider Twitter one. I find that wrong, but those people I cannot turn. Others simply express themselves incorrectly without malicious intentions. I can live with that, and by interacting with them perhaps nudge them in the right direction.
