I got tired of transferring chair shapes to pattern paper so I decided to improve my sewing space. This desk is permanently in the room, but when I need to I can clamp an A1 drawing board to a little folding table for a large flat surface. #SewingSpace #Organising

I started with the pegboard - took everything off, removed all the hooks, covered it in scrap paper, and put the hooks back on.

Yes, I'm transferring the pegboard layout to paper so that I have a pattern for the next stage. BUT I could do this mostly sitting down, which is an improvement over standing to draw huge chair bits. #SewingSpace #Organising

The pegboard holds what it did before, but it looks less busy. I found a little box to use as a tray for my synthetic threads (not many) and realised I had space to put away a reel of linen thread in a plastic drawer. With the other linen thread. I suspect a child borrowed it.

I put away some other stuff but you can see that the desk is still very covered. Maybe I'll have a good idea tomorrow.

I swapped the Miscellaneous and the Button Jars Magnet Board to make both a bit easier to see and access.
