Does anyone know how to kitten-proof a house?
I'm not saying they're causing any trouble, but the couch is on fire and the fridge is missing.

@dracnoc Yes. But we had only one to raise. Make sure you have a planthose nearby. Everytime they do something you don’t want, spray them. And yell and / or clap your hands.
Make a good spot were they are allowed to scratch their nails, we used an old piece of tapistry and nail it to a doorhold and a piece if board and put the board against a table leg.
Make compliments when they do well and let them see how to use things, by doing it yourself. Like scratching the tapistry.
@dracnoc Our leather couch (in the family since the sixties) hasn’t a single scratch. Nor is the tapistry on the floor damaged. Our Jippie doesn’t walk on the table nor on the kitchencounter.
You have to be patient and don’t get mad or agressive to the cat(s). It is not a dog. Telling them they are doing good is better then punishment.
Good luck! Pictures of your kitties are welcome! 😻😻#cats #catsofmastodon #caturday
