@doyce @LeviKornelsen or we could just stop calling anything after the 2e black&red printing d&d as they are different enough to be different games from TSR editions as well as each other.

@doyce If Player's Options is a separate edition, I'm voting for Unearthed Arcana, too. Possibly OD&D Greyhawk. And maybe even DragonFist or or AD&D Diablo, to add maximum confusion.

I'd prefer silly prefixes like Symphonic Stoner Doom Metal, though. People talking about "Technical Epic D&D" instead of "3.5E"...

@mhd @doyce I'm wondering if it should be the combination of Unearthed Arcana + Dungeoneer's Survival Guide + Wilderness Survival Guide that qualify as a separate edition? (It was those last two which brought in the non-weapon proficiencies if memory serves.)
@mhd @doyce "Technically Epic" is a fair description of my games.
@mhd @doyce As a 3.5 grognard, I approve of this new name. I mean, the 3.x cluster's *actual* name got stolen from it fifteen years ago, so it's needed a new one for quite some time anyway...
@doyce And what a handy reference this is too!
