Firoozye@dileeplearning Proponents of LLMs effectively argue that since language is “Turing complete” (for the representation of reason) then why should you use anything else? And although most (or perhaps all?) reason can be explained using language, language alone may not be the most efficient representation of reasoning.
@dileeplearning there are so many recent scientific discoveries of intelligence in animals - ability to recognise and recall images, reason about number, to problem solve. None of this intelligence involves language.
