@actuallyautistic I can't express how tired I am of finding nothing but advice for children on so many of the topics I research as part of understanding the effect of autism on my body. Sigh....

100% this. Autistic adults exist and need resources too! I’ve had a hard time finding anything to help ND adults because everything is focused on children. It feels like we’re expected to “grow out of it” and become NT. The only help I can find for ADHD is time management apps, so instead I started bullet journaling. I have literally found nothing for adults with autism except things trying to make/help us behave NT.

@dukeoffail @actuallyautistic Exactly! And even when you do find material related to adults it's often fractured, incomplete, or just plain wrong.

Virtually everything I've discovered that has actually helped is through one of two means.

1) Reading raw research and joining the dots myself.

2) Advice from other autistic adults.

We essentially don't exist to the medical profession.
