This absolutely has happened to me in the past. I ended up just letting them take the first few “bites” and then I would just destroy the rest in a few actual bites. You’re right though, it is their fault after all!

I always eat ice cream with a spoon. I can’t stand any other form of it.
Same, teeth are sensitive and the cold hurts, but with lips makes my lips burns from licking my lips lol.
MinnesotaGoddamProper ice cream is 20 degrees F. It’s too cold to just schlorp it off with your lips. If you can, it’s melted and you’ve missed important texture. That’s why I eat my ice cream with a knife.
