America's "Ventura Highway" is a very relaxing song to listen to but it's also one of those songs where listening to the lyrics will leave you with more questions than answers. Like what the hell are "alligator lizards" and what are they doing in the air?
@pawcelot the “northern alligator lizard” is a lizard native to and very common in western Washington. I like to photograph them during lunch breaks.
@Straander Good to know! Though I still feel like they're not in the air, except maybe in the most technical sense.
@pawcelot I looked this up once, and the interpretation I found said this is a reference to finding animal shapes in the clouds.
