GriffinClawIve had a look at the supposed Day 1 DLC. Its mainly cosmetics and crossover items from Divinity Original Sin 2.
I know this is a bit different and I also know Larian and their games, but the âitâs only cosmeticsâ DLC stuff also gets very heavily criticized by a lot of people because, âthey could have put it in the base gameâ or something. I donât really care about cosmetic DLCâs, but a lot of people do. Horse armor yada yada, you know the drill.
Iâve always viewed Digital Delixe thru the lens of a collectors edition without the $200 statue. Horse armor is how we got to $20 for a skin in Overwatch. They arenât entirely unrelated but are genuinely different product categories.
I mean what if Skyrim had locked Dragonbone (or whichever) armor behind a 10$ paywall. Sure, it wouldnât be 100% necessary to beat the game, but it would still suck.
I have never really played Skyrim. Is that a cosmetic armor? If so, I wouldnât really care about it.
