Hmm what to what.
I know, Hash brown sandwich with herring!
Please good sir.
Winter temperatures have neared 40 degrees Celsius in parts of South America, which is up to 20C higher than normal for this time of year and the equivalent of Sydney hitting 35C in the first week of August.
In the book about Africa Iโm reading Schweitzer describes how crops canโt be planted there as the too warm seasons make the plants grow so fast the wheat seeds donโt fatten and potatoes donโt grow tubers. They need time to develop. Will that happen here?
I took the seasons for granted. I think everyone did. ๐
So many records have been broken this year.
Really makes one wonder about tipping points.
Iโm definitely not feeling as cold, actually pretty warm to be honest.
Please let the rain stay away today, at least till the afternoon.
Time to brave the wind and walk Mr Woof. I just need to figure out what to wear for 16 degrees but feels like 12. Maybe a light jumper.
Edit: Made it back home without blowing away. The light jumper was a pretty good choice, a touch too warm when out of the wind, but that didnโt happen much. We also got a bonus chat with a neighbour reminising about all the changes in the neighbourhood.
Acquired maccha bikkies. All downhill from hereโฆ
