This will notify the person who published the original, or not? Not once, but twice or more because the bot answers. I don't think that's a good idea to spam the people you find interesting. Use the bookmark like anyone else and forget about it.

Axel Rauschmayer@remindme Is there another way to provide this service? I’m seeing the effects of similar bots on Twitter and the clutter in the replies is not pretty.
Would “mentioned people only” work as a visibility for the replies? The visibility could be enforced via warnings (and not providing the service) whenever someone gets the visibility wrong.
