When Israelis attack Palestinians they try to go after militants, not arbitrary civilians. That’s not to condone their illegal occupation of Palestine which I strongly oppose and condemn. But I despair every time Palestinians kill Israeli civilians claiming they are striking a blow against the occupation… they are not. On the contrary they harden the attitudes of Israelis and turn public opinion against them around the world. Their attacks have achieved absolutely nothing in over half a century. It’s time to try a different approach.
