Advocates in Seattle have always maintained we need around $1billionUS. It's probably higher now. Our WA state tax income is skewed in favor of high incomes: sales tax and in our (King) county tourism taxes. Our socialist council member has advocated #TaxAmazon and other entities which receive disproportionate benefits and perks, including land giveaways and easements. Council voted for it and under pressure, rescinded. Unlikely to happen as she's not running again.
