long-tailed bunny 'dachshund' does this as well! she'll get a drink, then put both of her front paws in and soak them, especially in summer - makes a wet mess on the floor!

long-tailed bunny is doing well, thank you for asking! she is done with all her meds, is eating well, and has generally returned to her pre-illness level of enthusiasm. mom is left looking at the credit card bill 😱
