ASTRONOMY HELP NEEDED.

I am an artist looking for an exoplanet astronomer who has experience of working with data from the TESS (Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite) mission to help me produce animations of target pixels from known exoplanets. If anyone knows of such a person and can put me in touch I would be very grateful!

My mother would be like:

"Shared, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, Good luck everyone."

@stephen_cornford I do have some experience with the TESS dataset (I work on the exoplanet.eu website at the Observatoire de Paris). I don't know if I have all the expertise you need but if I don't I think someone in my team has :)

Feel free to DM me, it's always a pleasure to help an exoplanet enthusiast 😁

@pmartin Thanks Pierre-Yves! For the video, I am interested in the epistemics of pixels in science. From my understanding the presence of an exoplanet can be shown through a periodic darkening of the pixels of a target star, I was hoping to make some animations of pixels showing this periodic darkening by essentially time-lapsing data from the same target. Do you have an email address I can write to?
@michael_w_busch @CosmicRami @stephen_cornford Thanks Michael. Hi Stephen, if you haven’t gotten it worked out I could probably help. I work on TESS and have made such movies (for science purposes, not for art) from Kepler and TESS pixels. Depending on your approach, there is Python code in the LightKurve package (https://docs.lightkurve.org) that can help a lot. Feel free to DM me.

@dacmess Thanks Douglas! What's the best email address I can reach you at?
@stephen_cornford probably the best is dcaldwell @ seti . org
