Yes, that's my point. It seems to me to be a case of people having fun at the expense of dogs instead of with them. I've never dressed a dog up, but I'm fairly certain my dog would not like it. But maybe some dogs get trained for this? Idk, that's why I'm asking to those who actually partake in this.
Some dogs definitely need to be trained in order to wear clothes - it’s not unusual for small dogs in cold climates to wear sweaters during winter for walks and such, and I’ve seen people dress their dogs in clothing instead of a cone when possible.
