“Ignoring COVID” means ignoring equity. Unless governments actually acknowledge that they still need to do much more to mitigate the harms of COVID, millions of people who are higher risk or have Long COVID will never be able to “ignore COVID.” That’s a travesty.
ChookMother 🇦🇺🦘@luckytran This is a nice scenario for people who live in Western countries where vaccines and anti-virals are readily available. But surely, while we go on being re-infected, even mildly, we're allowing the virus to mutate into ever more variants, causing more problems in countries that are less fortunate?
