I'm really not active here. Seems that the fandom can't unilaterally decide which platform to call home... and I just can't keep up on so many social media sites.

@SydneyRoo Personally, I've found here to be the better of options available right now.

Threads is all that privacy invasive stuff.
BlueSky is still invite-only, so really not accessible to so many people right now.
And Twitter is a tire fire.

@kootenay it took me a long time to get a smartphone, took me a long time sign up for an LJ, took me a long time to sign up for twitter.. everything people are bailing to is pretty new at the moment and I just don't feel much community anywhere any more

I’m just here and Twitter. No plans to set up another account anywhere else. Everyone seems to be going to BlueSky but I’m approaching 50 and can’t be arsed anymore.

@Dairishgoat just feels like starting from ground zero every time. Takes years to build a social circle that you want to be a part of, and then everyone just splits off and goes to 7 different places every few years. I just can't keep tabs on all that
