Anita Sarkeesian’s Feminist Frequency shuts down after 15 years
Anita Sarkeesian is shutting down operations of nonprofit Feminist Frequency in its 15th year. Alongside its nonprofit work, Feminist Frequency was a pioneer in feminist critique.
@siracusa good for her for stepping back and recognizing she needed it. A well deserved break. Her Tropes vs. Women series was eye opening for me at the time and I really appreciated her voice and critical thought in media.
