So I 3D printed a case for my (tr)uSDX and was outside sanding it when I made the mistake a setting a piece down on my car's hood. The heat immediately warped the plastic and it twisted out of shape. Luckily I was able to basically iron it back flat on the hood of the car, but that's just one more thing I need to take into account with this heat.
@awsh this might get a problem later on, too, when operating in the sun e.g. So maybe print the case in PETG instead of PLA.
@dl4mat Thanks. I've never tried PETG. I'll have to pick up a spool. I first tried ABS, but I was having trouble with it warping on the bed while it cooled, so I went with PLA since it's what I had at hand.
