I did not have “CDC warning of leprosy cases rising in Central Florida” on my 2023 Bingo card. But in retrospect, I should have considered it.

@WarmasterPalak @georgetakei 1. That one started in Kansas, let's not blame Spain just for not suppressing the news story during ww1.
2. We have a decent flu vaccine aimed at that by now, right? Right??

It got the name because Spain was the first country with the cohones to admit they had an epidemic going on, not because it was the country of origin. No one wanted to be the one to admit they were dying of the flu because that would make their WWI losing asses look weak. And let's face it, there were no winners in WWI or WWII. Props to Spain.

And not necessarily, if its mutated.
