In a perfect world I’d prefer the #Mets hold onto Justin Verlander because he’s figured something out, and losing him would potentially mean Senga, Quintana, and pray for rain in 2024. It’d be fun to see him on the Birds, all told.

That said, the only trade that I don’t think Eppler/Cohen are stupid enough to make, and would force me to seriously consider 40+ years of fandom, is Pete Alonso for anybody.
