By federated feed, did you mean the federated timeline? If so, I can't seem to find any mention of it being deprecated or of any plans for removing it. Is this still the case?
Braw ☕🏳️🌈@Harmon758 no, I think the deprecation was either indefinitely postponed or outright cancelled (judging by how these timelines were updated in the web client recently), but I believe federated timeline is still not available in official mobile apps. Basically at the time there were talks that it will be replaced eventually since it serves little purpose and very spammy, especially on somewhat big instances. Lots of things have taken the priority since then, so it's probably not the case anymore.
