🌳Before Vs. After in Vienna πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή

Ask your government for leadership and you will get a more livable, green and joyful city πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

@dmoser In my corner of the world the argument against is the brick and mortar stores will die out as people can't drive and park their cars nearby.

Despite of the evidence from around the world.

@singularity @dmoser how does that argument hold water? Some of the brick and mortar stores serve a dying market, but if a business can't sell sandwiches on a street full of people, maybe their sandwiches aren't very good.

@enobacon @dmoser Indeed.

And if the attractiveness and accessibility of our cities would be taken into account with the same piety as the right to drive your car wherever you want to, we might be living in some pretty nice places everywhere.

But instead the change comes a street by street, more or less.

@singularity @dmoser will these cities kill small independent shops, or will everyone go out more and spend more?
