smugglinzebras@matthew because it is not designed to keep your eyeballs here in order to serve you ads, like twitter and faxebook. It is not meant to give you the dopamine hit I suppose. Plus, much fewer people use it, and the federated nature of it means you only see posts from the people you follow. If this is good or bad I guess depends on what one wants from a social network
@smugglinzebras I love that about Mastadon, but I’m still left unsure who’s noteworthy on here to learn from
@matthew I would advise checking the servers list https://joinmastodon.org/servers you can follow servers with topics that interest you, there, you'll find the correct people for you to follow, maybe 🙃 personally I follow fosstodon for Foss related topics
