The 1980s were a weird time. Greed was good, the president was a giant asshole that cut programs and blamed immigrants and the poor. Everything was fake and plastic and for appearances and then this total weirdo taught me about absurdity and farce in comedy and how to laugh at the fake world I inhabited and how to retreat into your imagination.
