Season 8 on more torrents is probably considered to be the new hulu reboot. This is due to the disparity in the home release seasons and the television TV seasons. So most likely if you have seasons 1-7, you have all the home release versions of the show, and therefore have the entire library.

Seasons 6 and 7 were split into two halves for airing. This led to some sources claiming that each half was a separate series.

The same problem happened with the first four seasons (the OG ones). They were split up and episodes were aired out of order, so some sources claim that there are five seasons. It's really, really annoying if you want to watch the episodes in order and Plex has decided that "fuck you no, there are five seasons of random lengths" >_<

I think it’s a different story with the original seasons. The intended version was 4 seasons, but Fox being Fox aired the episodes out of order, ending whenever they wanted and that’s how 5 seasons came to be.

One might try to call it artistic privilege, but I don’t think it holds when you’re responsible only for distribution and not making.

As others have said, there are only 8 seasons. The confusion comes from tv stations cutting up the 4 futurama movies and labeling them as season 6. And then splitting up the real season 6 and 7 and labeling them season 7-10.

So the correct season numbers are:

Season 1 - as advertised Season 2 - as advertised Season 3 - as advertised Season 4 - as advertised Season 5 - as advertised Bender’s Big Score - split up an labeled as season 6 Bender’s Game - split up an labeled as season 6 The Beast with a Billion Backs - split up an labeled as season 6 Into the Wild Green Yonder - split up an labeled as season 6 Season 6 - split up and labeled as season 7 and 8 Season 7 - split up and labeled as season 9 and 10 Season 8 - labeled as season 11
