Cassadesiea@patrickharvie I think a lot of people are forgetting that we still need oil as a society. It would be great if we could just stop oil production tomorrow, but we can’t, and approving new oil and gas licenses doesn’t mean that the government isn’t doing anything about climate change.
To be clear, I think the lack of urgency in politics is pretty alarming, but getting angry at every drop of oil coming out of the earth is pretty unhelpful.
