Maggie Maybe@yuki2501 @alisca @DougWar40k I was all for only mass transit until covid. Now it seems kind of ablest doesn’t it? If I had to take a bus to go to the doctor I wouldn’t be going to the doctor. It’s bad enough I’m forced to be exposed there.
Sirana@maggiemaybe @yuki2501 @alisca @DougWar40k Ideally there should be affordable options for all needs. :) There are still plenty of abled people for whom it would be less risky to drive a bus or a train instead of their huge 4 seater SUV they only use solo every day though.

In this sense, there's a big difference between a necessity (the mobility of everyone, especially that of people with disabilities) and a vice (worsening one's health due to pollution and lack of exercise). If we choose the former, there can be abundance for all of us. With the latter, even air is too scarce
EsterDaniel Ytterbrink@maggiemaybe @yuki2501 @alisca @DougWar40k My disability (visual impairment) stop me from driving. It also makes public transport harder. If I can manage without a car, able bodied people in the city could also (with proper public transport) At least they can bike!

We should implement high quality ventilation and air filters, not only to keep you safe, also because even without disabilities Viruses make you sick. But cars make all of us sick too so those should go away.
