JoeThe internet tells me that small dogs can’t hold their bladder all that long but evidently they have not accounted for Ernie’s displeasure at the rain.
I genuinely worry about his bladder function on days like this. Hasn’t been out since 1am and still shows zero interest in going outside at the moment

@johana nah I think if he actually wanted to go out he’d demand it, he’s pretty good at making his needs known! It’s just alarming how long he can go without asking to go outside
Nick Quinlan@joenash when we first got our 25lb dog, Cardamom, she would only pee in bodies of water or our front hall and would hold her pee for days at a time until we let her get to one or the other.
@YayNickQ the water feels very specific, but holding for days to pee in your hallway feels malicious 😂 cardamom is a very good name
