@akisae Federated timeline is every other instance Meow is connected with (agreed to reach out to/communicate with) and Local is just posts located in this single instance.

@akisae Desktop clients I'm not 100 percent sure about, however I have heard that the program Sengi is a good one. I mainly stick to the website and Megalodon app for Android myself.
