It's always amusing how people say my views on moderation and federation create an ideological bubble.

Bro, have you seen my timeline on a daily basis?

I talk to
amazing people from all over the planet from every kind of identity, sexuality, and ethnic background you can imagine.

I have compelling convos with so many people who do not think like me regularly that I've just gotten used to having my worldview in constant flux.

If being in bubble means being part of an international community of brilliant, weird, engaging, and beautiful people from any identity one can conjure and some you can't, ha, then yes, I'm in a bubble.

It's fun here.
@Are0h of course we know that the “bubble” they speak of here is an anti fascist one. Closed, works as designed.
@Are0h randos: ‘but ro, you’re not hearing all the voices in your bubble!’
ro: ‘dude, i hear voices from so many different ethnic backgrounds’
randos: ‘not the voices i meant’
ro: ‘and from so many different identities and sexualities!’
randos: ‘no, not those voices either’
ro: ‘which voices are you talking about?’
randos: ‘oh you know which ones’ gets out tiki torch and maga cap
@Are0h "Living in a bubble" sounds pretty cool, in a crystal-spires-and-togas, Flash-Gordon-prog-rock kind of way. A Doctor Who episode probably begins with the Doctor promising to show their companions an amazing planet where everyone lives in bubbles.
@Are0h your bubble sounds rad
@Are0h As if excluding fascists didn't actually result in leaving more room for others to speak.
