Delete the app, Luke
@quasirealsmiths Not another protest that have an end date! Didn't people see what happened with the reddit failure?
@quasirealsmiths Everyone will log back in on Tuesday to see if everyone logged out on Tuesday. If an app's not right for you, then the right thing to do is delete the app or (as I've done) just send it dormant.
@quasirealsmiths seriously. It's like getting on this horrible guy's boat, hating the experience, and telling him he's the worst, the other people on the boat he's invited are the worst, and his boat sucks, and then returning to the boat again the next day because you really want to be on *that* boat. Obviously, the Dark Side has him confused.

@quasirealsmiths Come to the Fediverse side, Luke.

We have smores! And elaborate donuts.

@quasirealsmiths He’s obviously still team X-Wing.
@quasirealsmiths @Wheels I honestly can’t understand why anyone still has an account over there.
@quasirealsmiths deleting the app is like hiding your car keys from yourself. it doesn’t stop you from driving. you know where the keys are. you gotta sell that car
@quasirealsmiths the idea of boycotting a website you hate just for a day only to go back on the next day is kind of deranged. Especially because most of the people on that site who do participate in not tweeting won’t actually log off, they will just continue to scroll and view ads anyway.

@quasirealsmiths Wow that's like the most centrist/democrat stance I've ever seen. (The tweetless tuesday thing).

We can make this place less fashy, and change the loser that is bleeding money to make this place more fashy if we stop tweeting for ONE SINGLE DAY!

@quasirealsmiths
It’s sad seeing people trying to justify their decision to remain on a platform run by a thoroughly awful person:

“Twitter is losing vast amounts of money every day. Musk’s responses to this always involve making the platform worse. But if he loses just a *tiny* bit more money on Aug 1 he’ll completely change direction, right? Right?”

@quasirealsmiths @oliphant So some users not being on for less than 0.3% of the year is supposed to damage Twitter’s bottom line?
@quasirealsmiths hit them in the wallet - LOL!

Like one day of people not tweeting is going to impact a Billionaire. It'd be like him losing a quarter out of a hole in his pants pocket. Morons.
@quasirealsmiths
Twitter (or X) is fundamentally unsafe and will only get worse. No one cannot help your community there by giving them reasons to stay. Get who you can to safety and leave!
