@dancinyogi @jalefkowit this reply reminds me of this one episode of Goof Troop where Pete goes to the police thinking he's got a stalker and they had misfiled a horrible gore pic (not actually shown on screen) and swapped it with a photo of the winning entry in a local chili contest

i dunno maybe this correspondent was traumatized by that episode as a kid
