Today is a quiet Sunday. We're still dealing with the aftermath of the typhoon. It's still gloomy outside so we're making Korean pancakes. My cousin is in the mood to cook. Last night she made cordon bleu. Today, she could've just made normal pancakes but she insisted in making Korean pancakes so we're letting her do it.

It's a day for relaxation, but I still pray for everyone's safety and fast recovery from the damages brought by the typhoon. Keep safe everyone.

@djusmmr May I ask what Korean pancakes are? I have not heard of them before.

I have been very glad to hear that you and your family are safe.

@devisesmeans this is what she made. It's called hotteok or sweet korean pancakes. It has a filling (sugar, peanut usually). They also do have kimchi pancakes and onion pancakes. They mix kimchi or onion and other veggies to the batter.
@djusmmr Thank you! That looks amazing! I've had pancakes with a variety of things stirred into the batter, but I've never seen them filled like this before. Looks delicious.
