@gisiger is self fulfilling prophecy possible considering a key ingredient of success is creating a community of endeavour? It's not all just a work ethic and optimistic attitude. They're creating a meta network that hopes to pick people out of the bog-holes they fall into along the way.

I get the skeptical observation, but include a review of the underlying group dynamics. I'm more curious if people succeed despite lacking the requisite qualities with little or no network. A null hypothesis.
