what was so special about Sync For Reddit
Hello internet, So I’ve been seeing a lot of hype regarding Sync for Lemmy these past months, but I don’t know why. What’s so special about Sync for Reddit that I should I be looking forward to it for Lemmy? I never actually tried to sync for Reddit while I was on, well Reddit. Looking for some insight. Aside from that, y’all have a great day.
I’ve tried it once. You’re right, it’s nothing special.
I much prefer Relay but its developer hasn’t announced any plans to make a Lemmy version, so I’ve been using Connect in the meantime. It’s alright but the navigation is janky. So many unnecessary extra taps to do things in comparison to Relay (such as collapsing a comment thread), and navigation feels clunkier overall, especially when you’re trying to close a thumbnail preview. No tablet mode, and you can’t preview your comment as you’re typing it, either.
