Pre-local parade commercials include one from the Muckleshoot tribe complete with canoeing shots.

Local festival is Seafair, aka greater Seattle's annual festival.

Seafair is big enough to have the parade locally televised (KIRO). Next weekend's hydroplane races and air show is usually televised.
Alaska Airlines has an employee dance team performing to "I Want To Dance With Somebody".

Seattle Kraken has a marching band, and it's in the parade.

Officially it's still the Seafair Torchlight Parade even though it's now starting at 3:30pm instead of 8pm.

Drill team with sparkly outfits and sparkly *fascinators*. Cool.

An Alaska Airlines "Seven Floaty Seven" balloon being turned in circles.

North Side Drill Team. Looks like they're doing double Dutch jump rope. As well as other moves. You may have seen them in a Lizzo video.

The Pierce County Daffodil Festival float is kind of hydroplane shaped but also with daffodils.

The a Portland Rose Festival Rosarian float.

Another local touch: King County honor guard, which attends military funerals for veterans when requested.

And the County sheriff.

Chinatown drill team in amazing red dresses with gold headdresses. They follow a drum setup with dragon details. Ruby Chow helped start them in 1952.
Then comes a Chinese Dragon team running in patterns without tearing the dragon.
Another Chinatown troupe does part of a traditional dance.
Boeing has its own plane-shaped balloon, this one based on the Blue Angels. It's to advertise the Boeing-sponsored air show next weekend.

I'm not sure you get more Seattle than a "sustainable biofuel hydroplane".
