Let me stop you there, DriveThruRPG.com, and tell you *exactly* where you can stick that suggestion.

This, on the other hand, is very much my speed: one of a new series of short scenarios compatible with the classic Pacesetter horror game CHILL or its spiritual successor CRYPTWORLD. Great to see the system still getting some love and support.

@BigJackBrass I am so happy you like this! I had a great time writing for "Chill" again.
@timsbrannan I'm delighted to see things like this being made again. There's been a real dearth of short "fun horror" adventures in recent years, despite the tidal wave of published material. It's such a terrific area for gaming.
@BigJackBrass Fright Night Classics has a bunch of these. This is just the one I wrote. And it was a blast. Took me right back to my Chill days.
@timsbrannan One of my favourite times as a GM was running "Crime Magazine" from the Elvira supplement, the most perfect example of a group completely sabotaging themselves through being too paranoid and taking ridiculously elaborate precautions. Mind you, it's just as well everything went south before they reached the end, as I'm not sure the actual solution of that scenario would occur to anyone.

@BigJackBrass omg! I remember reading about that in an interview he gave to Different Worlds. It didn't sound great.

He maybe should have stuck to writing occult books for Llewelyn.

@edheil It's one of those games that tried to explain the rules in a sort of in character way, making them out to be mystical and ritualistic. I've rarely disliked a game so much.
@BigJackBrass Are they recommending Man Myth and Adventure, Well of Souls and… what was it? World Action something? as well?
@FredKiesche Man, Myth & Magic is indeed further along the recommended list, but I had a copy in the eighties so they'll not catch me that easily. Midnight at the Well of Souls, like World Action and Adventure, I only know through (scathing) reviews and I doubt they're in PDF… although it can only be a matter of time before Precis Intermedia gets the rights and resurrects them.
