#Peacock's #DaysOfOurLives is taking a one week -- at least -- unplanned hiatus following the explosive accusations against the show's co-executive producer and director #AlbertAlarr. A misconduct investigation revealed 30-40 individuals, mostly women, reporting inappropriate comments and physical behavior and a toxic work environment fostered by Alarr for years.
Alarr had received a written warning and was asked to undergo training but retained his position with the show which outraged cast and crew. The pause will allow #SonyPicturesTV and #CordayProductions time to assess the situation before it escalates further. Production should resume by August 7.
