The 10 year old Windows 8 laptop that I recently updated with a 1TB SSD (was 128GB), 8GB RAM (was 4GB), and #ubuntu 22.04 boots from zero to a login prompt in 26 seconds. I don’t think my 3 year old Windows 10 workstation laptop can achieve that.
concretedog@chrishuck I love this. I did similar for someone the other week. I5 t450s, 12Gb boots Garuda linux under 25 seconds on a small 240SSD. Absolutely the way to do tech imho!
