This is kind of a big deal for people who are into automations. Prior to iOS 17, user had to confirm automations triggered by Bluetooth every time (probably for security reasons). Yes. I think wifi trigger didn’t require confirmation even in 16 but to answer your question, yes, wifi can trigger automation without confirmation.
