One thing that broke the tech industry is that a generation of internet companies started off focused on growing their user base and figuring out a business model later then actually did — Amazon, Facebook & Google.

This created a belief that growth is all that matters and a profitable business is something that comes naturally afterwards. This has created a generation of unprofitable private & public companies worth billions with no path to profits.

And now zero interest rates are over…
