@plexamp doubling my Twitter message here, any plan to allow > 48 kHz & DSD output through a dac ? Currently forced to use 3rd parties app to have full resolution of my albums (limited to 44.1 output currently)

@Sylvainramousse hi res out out is supported on macOS and linux and iOS. We won’t pass through DSD because we need to decode for sweet fades and the like.

@plexamp alright thanks ! Could be super useful to be able to choose either activate it or use the other features (saying that because I’m not using smart features, just basic playback), but I can understand that it’s not a solution from your perspective

@Sylvainramousse A passthrough pipeline is just out of the scope of what we’re trying to do, not least because (IMO) it doesn’t contribute an audible difference.
