One aspect of brexit that has been too little remarked is how it has taken rights away from ordinary people, but left the rich pretty much as they were.

Young, adventurous ,working-class people, used to be able to broaden their minds and life experience by work, travel and study on the Continent. Brexit has made this difficult and, moreover, expensive. No problem if your parents are filthy rich - pretty insurmountable if they're not.

It's a tragedy for all young, working-class Brits - most of whom voted against brexit - but especially Scots, whose parents also voted against it.
